Solve Crusher Output Bottlenecks in Sintered Brick Production—Practical Guide
2026-04-22
In the sintered brick production process, many manufacturers are troubled by low crusher output, which directly affects the overall production progress and economic benefits. The key to solving this problem lies in mastering scientific operation and maintenance methods. Jaw crushers and hammer crushers are widely used in the crushing line of sintered brick plants, and their output improvement is closely related to feeding, amplitude adjustment, jaw plate maintenance, and other factors.
Proper feeding is the first step to improve output. When feeding gangue or hard shale, it is necessary to ensure uniform distribution at the feeder inlet and fill the crushing chamber, which can not only reduce the uneven wear of the jaw plates but also improve the utilization rate of the crushing chamber, making the crusher work efficiently.
Adjusting the feeder amplitude reasonably is another key measure. The feeder’s amplitude determines the feeding speed. Within the rated amplitude range, adjusting the amplitude through the control box can make the feeding speed match the crushing capacity of the crusher, avoiding the situation that the feeding speed is too fast or too slow, which affects the output.
It is very important to pay attention to feeding safety and quality. Iron blocks and other foreign objects must be prevented from entering the crushing chamber, otherwise, they will damage the jaw plates, eccentric shafts, and other components, leading to equipment failure and production suspension. At the same time, the maximum feed particle size must be smaller than the feed inlet, and the material height should not exceed the fixed jaw plate to avoid blockage.
Setting a reasonable discharge port size and correctly adjusting its opening are crucial to improving output. Too small a discharge port will cause material accumulation and energy waste, while too large a discharge port will increase the burden of secondary crushing. When adjusting the opening, use the ring gauge provided with the machine for measurement, and pay attention to the compression degree of the tension spring to avoid fatigue damage.
In addition, regular inspection of the jaw plate wear status and timely inversion, exchange, or replacement, as well as doing a good job in the lubrication of the bearing parts, can effectively extend the service life of the equipment and ensure the stable and high output of the crusher. This practical guide can help sintered brick manufacturers solve the bottleneck of crusher output and improve production efficiency.
